Welcome from Josh & Anna Duggar
We are so glad that you have stopped for a visit! We hope that our site will help you get to know us a little better and that you will be encouraged in your life through what God is doing in ours! We are just normal people who live pretty normal lives, we just have camera crew follow us every once-in-a-while! We look at our opportunities to share on television as a ministry to reach into the hearts of viewers and share through our life the hope that we have found in Jesus Christ!
We were so blessed to be married in September of 2008, and in October of 2009 we had our precious daughter Mackynzie Renée. On Mackynzie's first birthday we found out that we were expecting our second child and Michael James arrived on June 15, 2011! As young parents, we learn more each day the importance of seeking God in every area of our lives while also basking in the blessings of seeking Him evidenced in the abundant lives he has given us!
In our vows to each other at the wedding ceremony, we committed to God that we would leave the timing and amount of children in His hands. Of course, both being from "large" families (Josh the oldest of 19 and Anna number 5 out of 8) we knew that the question would come up, "So how many children will you have?" Anna responds, "We would be happy with two or three if that is all God blesses us with, but we believe that children are a blessing from God and we look forward to receiving each gift that He gives us."
The decision to trust God with our family size is based on our desire to serve God with every decision of our life. From the time we were young our parents taught us about the things of God and the importance of committing our lives to Him. God requires that we give him everything, and often the area that we want to reserve for ourselves is the very area that he knows we must surrender to Him. God wants all of us - as He often compares it to marriage - we must give all and no less! When we let God control every area of our lives, He will give us awesome new opportunities to glorify Him!
Being in the public eye, we often get criticized for the way that we have chosen to live our lives. Our goal in life is to share of the hope that we have in Christ and to use whatever platform He has given us to do so. In a world where so many are without hope, it is encouraging to know that there is a God that loves them and cares for them! We hope that you will come to the place in life where you can find true purpose.
Life is busy for us right now! With Mackynzie taking on the role of big sister and little Michael full of energy, Anna has her schedule full while days usually find Josh occupied managing our car dealership! We are grateful to so many and would like to first thank God for his great love and salvation through His Son Jesus Christ, to our parents for their years of training and investment in our lives and to our families and friends who have encouraged us along the way. As we have entered the new phase in life of parenting, we trust that the Lord will give us the strength and ability to raise our family and our children to become responsible young men & women that would look past themselves and serve the needs of those around them.
We would like to encourage the young people out there who are considering a relationship or getting married, to wait for God's best in their life partner. If you have made mistakes, start from where you are and let God be the sole proprietor of your life... including your love life! We all make mistakes, but God looks at our heart and says that when we give him what we have left, he can take it and do great things! God is interested in you & the relationships in your life!

Recipe for The Famous "CHICKEN-ETTI"
1 can of Rotel
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup of Milk
1/2 block of Velveeta Cheese
1 package of Spaghetti Noodles
3 Chicken Breasts
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
Cook Chicken Breasts thoroughly, then slice into strips. Combine first four ingredients in bowl. Heat in microwave and stir until desired consistency is reached, milk may be more/less depending on whether you want sticky or runny sauce. Boil Spaghetti noodles and drain. Pour noodles in 9x13" pan, add cheese sauce and mix thoroughly. Top with Mozzarella cheese and Chicken Strips. Place in oven at 350 until cheese melts. Serve and Enjoy!!!
